The camp ground is very nice and quiet. Great mountain bike trails around and a huge lake for all sort of water activities. Good cell reception with version but minimum with T-mobile. The restrooms and bathrooms are decent and clean, but there's no soap in any of restrooms so bring your own.

The only problem is the camp site location. We reserved loop C #97, and the tent pad is literally 3 ft away from #82 tend pad.

This site was in loop C, and we stayed during a holiday weekend. Whenever the campground is full, the bathrooms and showers in this loop are insufficient to meet the demand, and we ended up waiting in line to use the facilities or biked to loop B to avoid the wait. All toilets and showers each have their own door, which was really nice. There are only two toilets and two showers in loop C, while there are 8 toilets and 8 showers in loop B. The tent pad for this site was 5 feet from the tent pad for site 82, which is nice if you know each other, but awkward if you dont, or dont want to make friends. The driveway was one of the few in loop C that will accommodate a short trailer, and there are trees between the driveway and road, unlike most In the loop in which you are just pulling over to the side of the road.As for the activities, we biked, hiked, and kayaked, and really appreciated the connector trail from the campground to the bike trails. There are also two nice hiker only loop trails near the boat ramp. Plenty of shoreline to launch kayaks, but in loop C, you may have to carry them as much as 50 feet to the waters edge. We really enjoyed our time here with our two boys, ages 11 and 13. We plan to come back, but will plan ahead to get a site on the outside of loop A or B. For a last minute booking, we couldnt have asked for a better getaway.
