We Love it here! The sites are pretty big and somewhat private.
The fact that there is access to the lake to kayak, swim or float, boat is a bonus as well.
The bathrooms are clean, the showers are hot ( maybe too hot) according to my husband ??. We will continue to come back to Jack Rabbit!!!

Can’t believe how Johnny-on-the-spot a government 1800 number could be. Drove to a booked campground 40 minutes South. Dumb move. Called your 1800 number. Got rebooked at Jack Rabbit. Show up. First site sucked - but how was the rep going to know that a site next to bath house glowing in the night wasn’t my jam? Camp attendant gives me the tour. Find a great spot. Called the 1800 again, booked, and paid in real time. Spot was clean, relatively secluded, with easy access to the lake. This went from a this-will-do trip to a we’ll-be-back trip. Special thanks to camp attendant and his family for helping me and being down to earth, relatable folks.

Loop C is not recommended for those with children and disabilities. Most camp sites are below road level and require carrying equipment down stairs or a rough path. Direct water access is limited.

We love this campground, loop C especially. Great access to the lake and some wild space between the site and lake for the kid to explore. The bike trails are great, with a good range of challenge. We look forward to being back next year!

Love Jack Rabbit and will continue to reserve! Please take in to consideration that Loop C is a bit rugged and woodsy. Most of the outer sites have stairs or rough paths to access, Routes to the lake are "down hill". This loop is not the best area for small children and those with disabilities.
