We loved it. We've camped here for several years and this visit was wonderful as always. The camp host was friendly and helpful. The sites were clean. The place is beautiful! We enjoyed fishing, kayaking, bike riding, cooking out. We'll certainly be back.

Gorgeous view of the lake with a small beach in front of the campsite (072B) with plenty of shade. Extremely close to campsite 71B with direct view of each other. You can see and hear everyone at campsites 005 A, 007A, and 009A so if you’re looking for something quiet and peaceful, this isn’t the spot for you. Beautiful campgrounds though

This was our third time at Jackrabbit. We brought our canoe as always but this was the first time I was able to use the mountain bike trails - perfect for beginner families! Restrooms and showers clean as always, thanks hosts!

The campground was nice, but I was there during the week when it wasn't busy at all. If I had neighbors, they would have been really close and in full view. My site was right on the water, so that was lovely. I even had a little "beach" in front of my site. The hosts drove through a few times while I was there, so that was reassuring. What I did not appreciate was the fact that there was conflicting information online about how to reserve a spot. I took a chance and didn't make reservations. When I got there, a sign stated that it was $20 for a site, which I thought was quite reasonable. However, it also stated that reservations MUST be made through recreation.gov, which added $8 to the total. There was no option. So, it is not $20, it is almost $30, which to me is not reasonable for a tent-only site without hook-ups. And that does NOT include the fee for the beach. That's an additional fee.

We had such a fantastic time, it was perfect for children and the staff was amazingly helpful when something important was left at the site by accident. months later our kids still talk about their trip to the lake and ask when about when we are going back.
