Stayed at 41. It is close to 42, we were at higher ground and you have a good view of camp site 42. their campsite is about 30 away. you can hear them casually talking and theres lack of foilage between these 2 campsites. there is an easy walk to water though woods. when going to water paths goes to right due to fallen trees and blocked access. campsites 46 45 42 and 41 end up sharing the water access at the same spot. the ground is soft there and to the left is red muddy clay and fallen wood, thats why these sites access the same spot. most leave their kayaks and paddle boards at the water. water access isn't the swim/beach type. tent pad about 14 x 22. campsite 48 is best 50 2nd. 55 has max privacy and borders much water.

Drove 10 hours to find out that e-bikes are not allowed on the Jackrabbit bike trails. Research never indicated that such restrictions were in place. Campground was in good shape and the bathrooms were clean.

My husband and I stayed in three different campsites for two weeks here. Our favorite was 13, but we’d also recommend 12 (as solo couple) or also booking 13 & 14 as a family or large group. The hikes were beautiful and plenty of downed trees for firewood. Ingles is only 15 mins away and there’s a cute craft brewery in downtown Hayesville that serves delicious food. We saw a lot of kayakers, fishing, and bikers who were having a blast as well. The weekends are busy, so be prepared!!

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
