We stayed at Jackrabbit Campground for 2 nights. Our sight 17A was on the water with a nice view, but not easy access to the water. The site is large and far enough away from other sites. The restrooms had running water but are older so water flow at the sink was low. There are showers but we didn't use them. We'd definitely go back when we're in the area.

Jackrabbit campground is in a beautiful location with sites located all around a gorgeous lake. The sites are well cared for and not on top of each other - at least in loop A. However, the generator hours are totally unreasonable if you are in a motorhome. Hours are 10:00 am to 10 pm and limited to 3 hours per day. The 10pm time is fine but who waits until 10am to have coffee in the morning? And for a larger motorhome, 3 hours per day is hardly long enough to keep batteries charged. Maybe the campground needs to be divided to allow tents in one area and units that use generators in another. Funny thing is, the sites were far enough apart in our loop that I could barely hear the generator running at the neighboring site so not sure what the issue is. Again, it is a beautiful campground but wish it was more big rig friendly.

Campground was clean, peaceful, and close to empty during the week. We did have to find a farther water spigot for a tank fill as the one closest to us had the threads stripped.

Bliss on a lake - BLISS ON A LAKE.This campground is awesome. Plenty of space for me right beside the lake. The bathrooms and showers were exceptionally clean.I camped here alone as a single female and felt incredibly safe and comfortable. I'll be coming back!

I love staying here, but the 4pm check-in time is very late compared to the other places we stay. All of the other campgrounds in the region seem to have a 1-2pm check-in time. It really matters when you're trying to make the most of your trip. A 4pm check-in time eliminates some of your time for hiking, water recreation, etc. Check-out is 12pm, so I just don't really get it. We watched, and all we saw the host do was come around and pick up firewood that someone left for the next campers. This was bundles of heat treated wood, so I'm not sure why they didn't leave it. We didn't see them cleaning up or prepping the sites for the next campers at all. Also, the trash cans at the dump station were overflowing. Bagged and loose trash was piled up all around the cans. It seems like their time would be better spent changing the trash rather than taking up firewood that someone left for the next person.
