Campsites are clean and the park is beautiful. All of the staff are so friendly and helpful. Super dog friendly.

It’s a beautiful location nice spacious sites. Unfortunately we were there during tropical storm Fred and had to evacuate. We were able to then change from the non-electric to electric site which made it a lot more enjoyable to have air-conditioning in August

Davidson River is a great campground. Conveniently located for mountain biking in Pisgah. Showers are hot and the camp hosts are friendly. Surprisingly busy for Thanksgiving weekend! There is some road noise which is probably worse in winter without leaves on the trees. We'll be back again!

The camp hosts were very friendly and helpful. They were knowledgeable about the area and worked hard to keep the campground and campsites safe and pleasant. The campsite was nice, with a level and good size tent pad. The showers in the restroom near us didnt drain at all-plumbing was backed up and needed attention. That was the only issue we had, and we just used a different shower the rest of the time. It is a wonderful campground and hope to go there again!
