Davidson River is, by far, our favorite campground. Sites are wooded, shady and clean. Electric sites are a plus, wish there were more of them. Staff is always very helpful.

Davidson river is a great campground to stay at. The family had a super time. Lots of biking and trails to explore, surrounding woods are beautiful and the townships offer tasty bakeries and goodies of other kinds as well.

Overall the campground was quiet, clean, and convenient to the Pisgah biking trails.Would be nice to have more sites with electricity, and also the water in the sinks and showers needs to be hot, not lukewarm.Cell service is better toward the front of the campground and gets worse as you go toward the back to Hemlock and River Bend loops (further into Pisgah).

A great place to “winter camp.” Lots of trails to walk and the river was peaceful and calming. Sites are spacious. This was my first time at Davidson River.

We stayed in Hemlock 119, this is a nice site with electric. Bathhouse was real clean, water pressure was low in the shower. Nice place for tubing, swimming and hiking. Short drive to waterfalls, fish hatchery and park way. Brevard has nice shops and dining. Down side the sites could all use more gravel.

Beautiful campground with shady site and easy access to a shallow and calm river. The surrounding trails were easy for our young kids and the ice cream shop at the end of the road is a must visit! We will definitely be back when we have more time to explore.
