What a great campground! Beautiful setting with lots to see and do. Facilities are in good shape.

Beautiful campground! Nice, level campsites with good privacy. Kids loved the access to the river and swam and tubed the whole time. Newer bathrooms are nice, but seemed to have drainage issues throughout our stay-older bathrooms seemed fine. We did lose power one night after a storm, but weather was nice during the evening. Power was restored next morning. Lots to do in the area.

Wonderful campground with privacy, wooded sites, great for bicycling or walking, nice swimming hole with COLD water, great river for tubing. Some sites have electric, but most do not. Great location to visit Brevard.

Great campsites with the sound of rushing waters. Well maintained and lots of space between sites for privacy.

Large campground with ample space so that you don't feel like you're on top of other campers. Great bathroom and shower facilities. Friendly staff at the gate. I love the trail that follows the Davidson River!!

I had a great time camping at Davidson River Campground! I stayed on the Hemlock loop and LOVED that it was a super short walk to the river + trail. The bathrooms were nicer than most campgrounds I've stayed at, the showers actually had warm/hot water and great pressure! Overall Davidson River Campground is a great place to stay and is close to a lot of nature + waterfalls + hikes.

Campground foliage was completely overgrown. We had to trim back small branches to keep them from scratching our vehicle and ourselves. Campground gave the appearance of only minimal maintenance.

This is an excellent, family friendly campground. The sites are far enough apart to feel privacy and there are plenty of activities (swimming, biking, hiking, frisbee in the field) to keep everyone busy.
