One of our favorites campgrounds anywhere. Not far from downtown Brevard, central to the Art Loeb Trail, fishing on the Davidson River and, of course, some of the best gravel and MTB trails on the East Coast!

A very wonderful campground on the Davidson River. Large private sites with a variety of options from tent to RV. Well run and very clean. It is just ten minutes to Brevard, NC and close to many hiking trails in Pisgah Forest. Highly recommended!

What a great campground this was! The gatehouse staff person was very friendly and helpful. Dogs are allowed here as long as they are leashed. There are several different sections/loops within the park that contain their own campsites. The campsites felt spaced out enough that you could have some privacy from neighboring campsites, compared to other campgrounds I have been to before. They sell firewood up near the gatehouse as well. Right before the park entrance, there is a trailhead called "Art Loeb Trailhead", which could be a great hike for people of all ages I would think. The trail runs along the Davidson River I believe. It was a great little walk, and very pretty with the fall colors! Our friends recommended this campground and they did not steer us wrong! We would love to come back and visit again next Fall! Would certainly recommend this place! I am one HAPPY CAMPER ;)

Great location for recreation access. A little bit of road noise at times. Close to town. Restrooms are clean with strong water pressure in showers. Sites are well spaced apart. Most are wooded. Poplar loop does not allow generators.

Excellent Staff, very friendly!! Campground was clean and right next to Davidson river and is easily accessible. I liked the campground location, the swim hole and the tubbing possibility within campground. 5 out of 5, except that there are no parking spaces nearby swimming access points. overall a great campground and we are sure to return back here.

This campground is always clean and the attendants and hosts ready to help when needed. I was able to drive to some remote trailheads this year as well as hike and re-hike the ones closer to Davidson River. If you're interested in visiting waterfalls, this is the location to choose. I have never had a bad experience at this location.

I love the non generator loop. I camp for the peace and quiet. I wish there were more non generator loops in campgrounds.

Many hikes of varying diffulculties to waterfalls makes this venue ideal for solo or family camping. The camp ground is clean and the tree cover makes it pleasant in summer.
