Great sites, location, clean bathrooms, some phone signal, but the dog barking is getting much worse. No enforcement. Sad.

Fantastic! Very clean restroom, welcoming and attentive staff and even blew leaves from out camping spot. Great!

The Riverbend loop is the only loop near the water. We stayed in Poplar and it was .60 mile to walk to the water. This was difficult with little kids. Also, there is only one, small designated swimming hole. Which is also where people fish, so that was difficult. The bathrooms are not the best, but they flush which is a plus. Everything is paved, so the kids enjoyed riding bikes.

The campground was great. The broken website, not so much.

I stayed in Poplar loop which is quiet as it is the non generator loop. The camp site is clean and bathrooms are good with hot showers. The man at check in was very helpful. There is WiFi and phone access at the visitors center, a quarter of a mile down the road.

Great Campground was nice, staff was very friendly! Shower was clogged and could be cleaner.

I was camping solo for the first time and I was a bit skeptical of which campground to choose and feeling safe alone. Davidson River Campground exceeded all of my expectations! the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, they warned me about bear sightings and even made me feel safe when they told me they were the host of my loop. And best of all, the campsite themselves were so beautiful! I was lucky to be placed along the River and then a stream. The Laurel loop was my favorite. The grounds were very clean as well. The bathrooms were clean, some loops having individual stalls or showers whereas some had a public restroom and public shower. The Davidson River Campground added so much to my overall trip to the mountains. I will be staying here again in the future whether I am solo camping or if I bring friends and family!

Ive been coming here since I was a kid and usually love this place. The last trip, we were surrounded by a group that stayed up partying until 4 in the morning both nights. The campground host must have had their hearing aids turned off. I complained to the campground hosts after the first night to no avail. The second night was as bad.
