We had a great time at this campground! Clean facilities, lots of families with kids watching out for everyones collective safety, and the Ranger are Check-in was informative, kind and friendly. The swimming pool and the walk around the river were the cherry on top! There was a fire ring and picnic table at the camp site, and a flat pad to use. The site we stayed at was pretty close to neighbor sites so its limited on privacy, but everything else was fine.

Amazing hub to explore from. Stay at Riverbend loop for quick access to an awesome swimming hole in the stream. Good privacy between sites. Great and friendly staff and all other campers

Close to town by greenway, access to backcountry trails from campground, river adjacent to camp sites. Best is the private restroom and shower rooms. (Hot showers)

Wonderful stay. Great location. Clean, quiet park. Bathroom facilities were clean. Campsites are not very private- trees/leaves are sparse in winter so you can easily see all of the neighbors. It was also very cold with few sites to accommodate electric, so Id prefer to return in the spring/summer. However, it was great to be outdoors in the fresh air and we did see a few chipmunks and deer on our trip.

I booked a reservation to make sure we had a spot. Making reservations on the website is very user friendly. We tent camped for three evenings. We had a wonderful time. Other campers children were out riding their bikes and my kids played with them. Other campers were friendly. The restrooms were clean and the showers were hot. We fished and hiked. I look forward to going again. Also, there are many stores within ten minutes of the campground if you need to run out and get something you may have forgotten to bring or need unexpectedly. Restaurants nearby also. I highly recommend staying here. It's a very well run and maintained campground.

Shocking! Cant believe that the USForest Service would leave a campground in the condition that Davidson River exists in now . Understand about removing diseased trees, but to expect the forest to reclaim all the debris and ruts and holes left by machinery is ludicrious. Currently , the condition is dangerous to campers and users of the campground now. USFS needs to remove debris left from logging operation immediately before a serious action happens. What beauracrat oversaw that operation should be removed for dereliction of duty.
