Excellent campground - Clean showers and restrooms, helpful gate staff, nice location, weak or no phone signal, and safe environment. Many of the site driveways are not level at all.

We love camping here and cannot say enough good things about Davidson Campground and the surrounding area. There is so much to do, close proximity to the parkway, waterfalls and trails. It’s wonderful! ??

Excellent facilities, from spacious campsite to clean restrooms and showers with hot water. Staff was most courteous and helpful!

As one who has been coming here for 30 years, this campground has declined from its glory days. Although wonderfully situated among pristine forests, trails and nearby Brevard, the campground facilities have fallen into disrepair. The bath/shower facilities are shabby and poorly maintained. The roads are broken in places. There is a sense that very little money and effort are put into improving facilities that naturally degrade over time. Instead, just enough attention is paid to keep things functional...barely. The place is being neglected, and it shows.

Our campsite was clean and easily accessible. Bathrooms were very clean but the only complaint is the one stall shower. So you have to wait a while for a shower. There are endless amount of trails, waterfalls and sights too see. We are planning on going back every year. Also local small towns to visit and shops to explore.
