Excellent campground! Close to town yet you feel so close to nature. Our favorite spot any time of the year!!

So close to everything you'd want to do in this outdoor paradise, and convenient to Brevard. Clean bathrooms, wooded private campsites. Wonderful.

This campground is beautiful but what makes it even more amazing is the staff!
They are so genuine in the way they care about your stay .

Davidson is a unique and beautiful park with hiking in and around the park, rustic yet all the amenities of a small town within a 1-3 miles.

Several trailheads are close by and it’s right on a bike path into town

Great campground! Sites were mostly, well-spaced, facilities were clean, staff were great, and the Pisgah National Forest is truly beautiful. Leveling required just minor adjustments, and the electric service was fine. I only had two complaints: 1) There is much more road noise than I excepted in a National Forest. Highway 276 runs right alongside the campground, so you do hear traffic all day and some at night. (I recommend you pick a loop furthest from that highway - Poplar, Laurel, or White Oak loops. But none of the loops are quiet.) 2) There is no potable water at the electric sites. You have to fill up when you come into camp, and then keep transporting water from the community spigots every time you run out. If not for these two gripes, I would rate this park as truly excellent.

Beautiful location & nice to have e electricity and warm bathrooms. The only downside is Senior Citizens with Golden Age Passes have to pay a $10.00 additional charge for booking online which we are forced to do. It should be a free service at least for us old folks!
