Davidson River is wonderful! Highly recommend. Everyone drives slowly, respecting the kids at play great sense of community! The staff is helpful and kind. And of course the river is beautiful and the sites well maintained!

Conveniently located to hiking in Pisgah Natl Forest. Camp host was very nice and professional. Campsite was clean and private w/shade. The restroom/shower area is old but everything worked fineno frills.

New Year's Eve camping trip with family was great! Bathrooms were open and warm and campground was quiet at this time of year.

It was beautiful, nicely spread out camp sites and the sites were left natural. The gate workers were very informative and helpful.

The showers were not functioning. I paid for them in my camp fee but cant use them wasnt happy about that at all

Very nice campground with good spacing between sites. We were in the apple tree loop along the river. There was a lot of traffic noice from the road on the other side of the river and we were told by others that in summer it's really noisy with people tubing on the river. Overall, we had a pleasant visit and plan to camp again in the future, but in a different loop away from the river and the road.

Quiet and clean campground. Convenient to town and many hiking trails. I think one of two bathrooms in each loop is heated in the winter. I would definitely stay again.

Campground was very nice. The host were very friendly as were the campers. Rest rooms were cleaned everyday.!What a wonderful setting. Very close in proximity to Brevard. I would recommend it.

Even though most of the other campsites were closed for the winter my wife and I still had an amazing time. The hosts were polite and helpful about thing around the area to do. The sites were all clean and there were plenty of trails to walk around. All around a great experience!

We met the camp host, Kristi ? (sic), when we first arrived. She was very helpful and accommodating. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. We were new RV owners and used the Appletree section and were very happy with the hiking, the river and the general feel of the place.The waterfalls and sites in Pisgah are really nice. People should take the scenic drive on the Blue Ridge drive also.Site #54 on the river was nice. We were in site 50.

I was disappointed to have the site across from me with 5 vehicles and 5 tent set ups and the group of mountain bikers staying up and talking until 11:30. During my ride through the park, I noted two other sites with 3-4 vehicles and set ups per site. This is clearly a violation of the two vehicles and two set ups per site and creates crowding and noise issues. The volunteer managers said they can't control it. The sites are nice but the area in general has become too overused and crowded.

Nice place to stay, a little noisy at night with all the activities. Good location into Pisgah NP, can't beat it.

This is our go to site when we travel "Home" to NC. Great location, close to so many attractions. The restrooms are very clean. The campsites were well groomed however it did seem this year that in between the sites the vegetation was overgrown. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here and we will definitely be back.

Great campground with very nice amenities. The bathrooms and showers were clean and all campers were quiet during quiet hours. Had a great time.
