Our family had a great stay at Davidson River. It's really conveniently located near Brevard and Dupont forest. This was our first stay but I'm sure we'll be back.

Beautiful campground. Warm shower water. No notes.

We've stayed twice, once in a tent and again in a camper van. Both times have been in "winter" so the entire campground isn't open but in the area we've stayed, the spots are well spaced, flat and have fire rings, tables and platform for the tent. My only gripe is that they close some bathrooms so one bathroom for a lot of people and walking a long distance in the middle of the night isn't ideal. It's a great location for getting to the river and mtb trails and a hop skip to town. We will return!

Davidson River is a great campground: we had a nice time. The facilities are nice and the staff (with one exception) was very friendly.

Davidson River Campground has been one of our favorite places to camp for the last 40 years. We camped with our children and now with our grandchildren and all of us love going back year after year! The campground is kept natural and clean; the facilities are kept very nicely. The sites are large enough for our family groups but are kept so that you feel a sense of privacy from other campers. Our children and grandchildren love the loops that they can ride their bikes and scooters and never be too far away from us that we can't hear them if they need us. It's just a wholesome place to camp and we hope to return for many years, maybe even with the great grandchildren!
