Would love to know how to reserve full hook up spots. We saw two different tent campers using the full hook up spots!

Davidson River is our favorite place to camp. Staff are very friendly. I was glad to read you are updating the shower houses as they are not ADA compliant now.We like to watch everyone at sliding rock, we go to the Cradle of Forestry every visit and of course Looking Glass Falls! We live in Indiana and are in our seventies but make the trip once a year.

Very nice campground. Sites are spacious and many are reasonably private. Each loop has its own bathhouse which is nice. Attendants are courteous and helpful. Good dump station and potable water fill-up is available.

We enjoyed our site, and the trails and general layout of the campground. We missed (but not too much) playgrounds and pavilions and water at our site. The bathroom facilities were the worst of our stay. In our loop, we had over 20+ sites and one bathroom with 2 stalls and one shower in the women's, and 1 urinal, 1 stall, one shower in the men's. More spiders than people, and a warm shower in 30 second increments that frequently ran cold by the end.

Loved it! The campground is large with good spacing between sites, and the hosts and staff are friendly and helpful. The hiking trail that follows the river is so peaceful and relaxing that I wanted to stay another day just to keep hiking. The campground is close to several waterfalls - we visited Looking Glass Falls, Whitewater Falls, and Rainbow Falls - and is also close to the quaint little town of Brevard. The Blue Ridge Parkway is just a few miles up the road and offers so many beautiful views of the mountains and fun, twisty mountain roads. I highly recommend this campground and will definitely visit again.

This campground offers great secluded sites. The camp sites are well maintained and clean. The Bathrooms/showers could use some help, they were clean, but the design is very breezy and chilly in the colder months and I would suspect quite warm in the summer. One thing to note is that there is no wifi and no cell service, which is great for disconnecting and "getting off the grid" but something to keep in mind if you aren't looking for that kind of experience.

We loved our time at Davidson River. It was a beautiful campground with private wooded sites. It was a great starting place to explore Pisgah and DuPont Forest.

Great tent camping. Make sure you have a reservation before you get there, or you will be turned away at the gate and there is no internet cell service.

Great campsite. Beautiful Area. There were alot of noise issues with other campers. Rules stated quiet hours but folks were very loud until after 1 am.Other than that everything was fantastic!
