My family thoroughly enjoyed tubing down the river on their floats. We were in an excluded area, which was nice. We had an area that wasnt extremely excluded, but we still had fun and met some really nice people while we were there and we were close enough to shops to go get some souvenirs and T-shirts. The ladies out front helping us check in and out were awesome. Very helpful. Very convenient to get water and empty your camper when needed.

Great hiking right from the campground. Sites are roomy and separate. We did a loop drive up to Pescah lodge. Dined at an Irish pub in Brevard. All good.

Fantastic open spaces all around. Very clean showers and bathhouse. The site was in perfect condition but evidence of the 5 yr devastating flood from last year can still be seen all along the river banks. Never spoke with the host but the gate guards were very friendly and helpful.

Ive been camping at Davidson River for over 40 years. Its a great spot especially for families. The new operators are doing a nice job.

Several families did not abide by the quiet hours and were loud/yelling until about midnight. There were also lots of people arriving past 10 pm and shining lights into the tent and slamming car doors. Also, this campground is right off the main road so it sounds like you are sleeping next to a highway.Not an enjoyable or relaxing experience whatsoever.

I love this campground, the only complaint was that a boy scout troop stayed next to us and were very loud and rambunctious all night. The campground host didn't ask them to be quiet, I had to speak to the parents multiple times.

A W E S O M E ! Arrived from PA via motorcycle ~6 PM. A woman from the campsite next to us brought us beer and burgers! Plenty of room for multiple tents on the campsite. Great location. Hope to visit again - soon.
