Caught the Biggest Trout that I Ever caught on the Davidson River. It was awesome and only 140 yards from our camp site.

This is a beautiful quiet camp ground on the edge of the Pisgah forest. It has a great mix of sites spaciosly placed in the forest, both with electric or tent camping. I will return. Cell phone coverage is very little in the campground and Pisgah National Forest. The only disappointment is that the shower was not clean.

Great location and campsites. Lots of nearby hiking as well as Mtn bike trails and gravel rides.

We have been coming to Davidson River since the 1970's and have loved every minute we have spent there. We used to bring our two boys, and now we bring our grandchildren. To me, this is the nicest and most peaceful campground we have ever stayed at...truly Gods country!

The park itself is very nice. Most spots were roomy and level, We were very disappointed with the cleanliness of the restrooms. We stayed 4 nights and the restroom were not cleaned until the last day. When we arrived, they were gross. The hot water was not hot. We have stayed here in the past and had a different experience.

Only downside to campground is no water hook up and only a few electrical. You have to book exactly six months ahead of want electrical. But that being saidwe keep coming back every Fall. Great location in the National Forest and the Park staff always incredibly friendly and helpful. Close to the lovely town of Brevard and close to beautiful hikes.

I stayed at three different spots over the course of three days. The first was the noisiest I’ve ever experienced there(kids screaming, riding bikes, throwing balls around my site/upsetting myself and my dog). Second spot was great. Third was fine except for the overwhelming smell of urine(?)

We have been coming to this campground for many years. We always have a great time. Sites are oversized and most very easy to park in for our 36' camper.

Sewage was backed up in bathroom and they closed the bathroom. Tiny bundle of firewood is 8 dollars. Bear came thru campground and scratched my rv door. Other than that it’s a beautiful place to camp.
