Bathrooms could use some work, otherwise nice campground. Convenient location. Front gate employees were very friendly.

Campsite #58: Tent camped with electric, May 6, 2024. Nice quiet campsite, close (75') to restroom with showers. No cell service for either Verizon or Xfinity. Camp host had ice ($5 / 7lbs) and firewood ($10/bundle) for sale. Very short drive to Brevard (5 miles) for groceries, restaurants or services.

I love Davidson! I wish they had sewer hookup sites and this is literally my only suggestion for improvement.

Davidson River is always been one of my favorite campgrounds.
Me and some friends really like that they keep a couple of loops and appropriate bathhouses open during the winter.
Campground hosts have always been very nice and accommodating.

Amazing location, great facilities; bathroom in Dogwood Loop is heated and water hot! Camp host Brian and family, so welcoming and helpful! Hikes available from within and close by campgrounds too!

great campsite with amenities, multiple hiking trails that start from the campground, and a creek that flows through the grounds.. will come again.

oh and it's also only a couple miles to town

Beautiful campground. Most are on the water.

The site was level and on a corner (#58), nice location to showers/rest rooms....nice to find the ranger station right down the road....was sad to see all the destruction but a lot had been done already to clear up the debris. We will definitely make time to come back.

Big campsites allow some privacy. Quiet campground with a nice walking trail.
Accessing the dump station to leave took over an hour. There were two arriving campers filling their holding tanks at 10:30 am and they blocked traffic to and from the dump area.

The sites have no water hookups and if you go in the winter there is no potable water available in the entire campground so come prepared.
