Great woodsy park. Bathrooms do have showers, although could use updating.

Davidson River Campground offers great casual/easy biking around the campground. The river is beautiful and offers a place to swim in the river. The sites have ample space between each site and you are surrounded by trees so it feels semi private. Bathhouses are conveniently located. There are many hiking trails to choose from so you have different options to be outside playing and enjoying nature. It's a great place to camp!!!

This a great spot right on the river. Nice campsites, but the bathrooms could use some work. Second time in a row I showed up with no working shower in my section. The first time bathroom was completely shut down.

A shadow of its past when actually managed by the park service. Crummy , overgrown campground areas. 1940s cinderblock bath houses with single sink, toilet, and shower. One "assigned" to my camp area did not have a working shower. Staff defers all reservation issues to RG.... which i get.... Yet rangers used to have a leaderboard of sites on hand to let campers know immediately if sites were coming available. ALSO... no phone service ( Verizon) and 1 wifi hotspot. Seems dangerous to not be able to communicate in an energency. Would camp here again only if forced. Bah humbug...

I picked a camp site by a bathroom. When we arrived the bathroom was locked and we could not find anyone to open it for us.

the restrooms were dirty and shower water was either too hot or cold. Otherwise we had a great time!

We have camped here annually for over 25 years with our group of friends. The kids enjoyed tubing and the ranger programs. The quaint towns around are excellent places to find shops and restaurants. The restrooms are clean at the campground, sites are prepared for incoming campers. The paved driveways are a bonus!
