Beautiful campground and Ive stayed here many time. Needs a bit more care at this point. One of the bath houses has been closed for several years and the next closest was not maintained well.

Really nice campsite. Well kept. Our site was right by the river. Loved the sound of the water at night. The exercise trail also runs parallel to the river so we had a constant lack of privacy. Since it was our first time there, we did not know this trail was there. Our next trip will be at a different site away from this path. Most evenings were very peaceful. On our last night, there was a party that was loud into the wee hours of the morning. The quiet time was not enforced. We received little sleep and we had a long drive home the next day. Most people are not that ignorant and we would not hesitate to come back to this campground again. We liked the proximity to the sights and trails in the area.

Campground was very clean and had nice facilities. The surroundings are beautiful and theres a great trail along the river accessible from certain camp sites and loops. The area is huge so theres a lot of other campers and there were a lot of groups with kids so it isnt the most quiet if thats what youre looking for. Im the sites are also not the most private so keep that in mind when booking. But overall its a great, well maintained place with a nice and helpful staff.

Pleasant enough campground, good sites, but quite close to a fairly busy road, and quite expensive. I guess that comes from its proximity to lots of activities and lots of people.

This is a beautiful well maintained campground! The fall color was spectacular this year along the River and hillsides. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to help us with getting into a different site after we had a problem.

There were no Black transwomen present at the campground. This makes me feel unsafe as President Biden has told us all that white nationalist are our greatest threat.

New staff, just as helpful and friendly. It was sad to see so many trees had to be cut down but understandable. I've been visiting for over 35 years and plan to continue as our family enjoys the campground, river and surrounding attractions.

Great for kids floating on tubes. If you want less activity stay away from the river loops. Nice and flat campsites.

Great camp sites, great trails ,great river. Camp sites are spread out so your not right next to your neighbor.Book a trip and see for yourself.

You must have your dogs on leash, inside your camper or in a "cage." Cage is narrowly defined by staff as a crate (it has to have a top on it). Camp staff regarded the x-pens we brought along so that we could enjoy being with our greyhounds just outside of our front door as "fences" and thus prohibited. We had to take our x-pens down but were told that we could use tethers. Tethers are ok if your dog is attended and the tethers are short. But they are dangerous for particular breeds, including greyhounds. My sense is that the "cage" vs. "fence" policy or rule is not a particularly well thought out. It is one that should be re-visited. Otherwise, we had a great stay. The staff was friendly. Thanks so much!

Very peaceful after dark. Clean facilities. Tent sites too close to trail. People constantly coming through our site. Would have preferred more privacy
