Love Davidson River Campground! Many sites offer plenty of privacy and all have been well maintained and clean. Walking the trail by the river is so relaxing and is a favorite daily routine. Brevard is a must-visit town with plenty of unique shops, and Brevard Diner never disappoints. The campground is in a great location close to town, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and many of the popular waterfalls. Looking forward to staying at Davidson River Campground again!

Davidson River offers so much! Its a great location with lots of activities and close to good restaurants and local breweries. For the last 9 years weve stayed 2 times a year and continue to come back for nature and the overall experience.

We love Davidson River Campground so much that we book 2 times a year for the last 9 years. Hemlock is our favorite loop although we enjoy all of them. The staff are really nice and one family has now been there for 4 seasons and it is nice to see them each year and watch their family grow. The location is perfect for hiking or day trips to other areas. Close to shopping, breweries, and downtown. There are bike trails from the campground to downtown and a lazy river that when the water levels are up it is really nice to relax and float. I highly recommend the camp ground for anyone visiting the area. We’ll be back in October!

Brian was an excellent campground superintendent. He made sure we had everything we needed to prepare for a major snow storm and continued to check on us.

Camp manager in site 55 very friendly and over accommodating. I arrived to my site a day earlier then planned. Camp manager greeted me upon arrival. He was friendly and even brought the fire wood I needed to my camp site. Camp manager knew I forgot my lighter and let me borrow his lighter until the morning. Very kind and welcoming. Thank you for being awesome.

The campgrounds were clean and well maintained. The trash bins and restrooms are all conveniently located around the grounds. The sites are not positioned too close to each other which offered some privacy and sense of space.

The bathrooms had a heated lamp which offered extra unexpected comfort during the cold season. The bathroom was also clean and sanitary. There was ample tissue and all appliances were in working order.

The trails were clean and well maintained. Great views.

It was a great experience. My visit made me consider returning every year and creating a new family tradition to include Davidson River Campground.

Thank you to all staff and personnel who maintain this beautiful campground.

Really lovely campsite. Good shade, very clean, nice and private. I walked down to the river every morning and evening to fish. Caught a couple of trout, saw lots of tubers, took my kids swimming at the swimming hole. Lots of cool stuff in the area, too - sliding rock, looking glass falls. A wonderful summer adventure for everyone. :)
