What a special place - remote, calm, trails, creek access, and a fire pit. This place will always hold cherished memories for our family.

Site looked great, especially towards the end of peak season. The water pump was not working when we stayed in April and it was not working on this trip either (September) -- so hopefully this can be fixed. I would plan for an outage just in case.

Upper Cove Creek Campground is set at a good elevation and is very peaceful. The stream crossing to access the site should not be attempted by small or low cars.

The field and Out House were very clean. The well pump worked. The weather was perfect. The new bridge was a great improvement.

Been coming here for more than 40 years. They finally got the water working in the winter. Moved the solar panel actually to be in the sun! Only froze on two days below 10 degrees! We thawed with a propane torch and made it work. The company that maintains needs a little more prodding to keep the bathrooms up. We had a large group and ran out of toilet paper. Ashes were not emptied in the fire pit either. But the place is beautiful as always.

Everything was great. The field was clean and recently mowed. The out houses were clean. The only negative was that the well pump was not working. Bring extra water.

As usual the water did not work when we arrived. We have camped here for 45+ years. We also did not get a gate code until 6:00 PM on arrival day! But later that day someone did come and put a new lock and fixed the water. So that was good.

The site was good, however, there was no water and the walking bridge was out.

The stream crossings were much better than past years. The site was clean as usual. The well did not work and there was no hand sanitizer in the bathroom.

Would have been excellent except that once again there was no water available at the site. Upper Cover Creek. The pump house needs to be fixed.

The spot is perfect as usual. But yet again, the water did not work at all! We come several times a year, usually in the winter. Thought they would have the water situation figured out by now. Seems like we should get a refund for having to buy water!

Cove Creek is a fantastic area to camp. Be prepared for hikers to wonder through, but a great spot otherwise.
