Campground was well maintained and the sites were blown clean prior to arriving. Proximity to the river was nice and the setting deep in the woods felt secluded. Trout were biting and the local mountain biking trails were in great condition. The shower water could have been warmer.

Great campsites, and the river is awesome for swimming, playing, and fishing. Bathrooms are clean, and they have convenient access to firewood.

My main complaint is the air quality in these campgrounds. Everyone seems to need a campfire which they often will smolder come morning. Good air quality is a priority for my family, I wish people could learn to appreciate the same. Also, the night sky is one of the pleasures of this place! Enjoy!

Campground/site: Well maintained, beautiful area, lots of trees/shade. Good flat spot for rooftop tents.

Camp hosts: Friendly, helpful, provided useful info and firewood!

Bathrooms: clean and functioning! Shower house had heated toilet stalls. Shower stalls were nice and fairly clean, but did not quite drain properly in the stall I was in. Nothing to hang or set soaps on really.

Atmosphere: Generally quiet and peaceful. Lots of people around fishing and recreating aside from the campers. People near me came in at 10:30pm, left car running for a long time, and then made noise until after 1am. Then I saw them pulling branches off of live trees to keep their smoking campfire going (burning live brush won’t work broh especially after it’s been pouring rain for days. If you are going to camp, learn how to camp! See tread lightly dot con for example!

I enjoyed my stay and would return.

Starlink: With major interruptions.

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was perfect! We were in campsite 3, next to the ranger (trees in between for privacy) and backing up to the forest. All the campsites are super private and well spaced. We just had the best time. We were there beginning of October, wood got delivered to us by the ranger for $9ish per bundle. Good price for convenience. Speaking of convenience, the grocery is crazy close so thats a real plus! The side we were on had a bathroom that youd expect. It flushed and was clean but definitely had a wilderness vibe to it (anything beats using a bucket or outhouse so I was absolutely fine with it!). The bathrooms/showers on the other side of the creek were LOVELY- newer and super clean! Showers were amazing. For being so close to civilization this place felt a world away. We have a huge bell style (teepee) tent and it takes up a giant footprint. Not that many sites can accommodate that- site 3 and 4 could so keep that in mind. I loved that it was almost all tents and there was so much privacy between sites! Roads were paved and kid had bikes and scooters. Creek/river was so beautiful and we loved exploring it. It was out first time camping as a family and my 7 year old loved it so much. Oh also there are water pumps well spread out with drinkable water so we didnt need to really worry about filling a big 5gallon jug or anything, super helpful. Dont hesitate to book this place, we would go back in a heartbeat.

My husband and I stayed at this campground for 5 nights in October. The river was gorgeous and lots of beautiful fall leaves. The roads are quite thin but we were able to navigate without any problem in our 32 ft fifth-wheel. The Manager and Camp Hosts were amazing and very accomodating. They do sell ice and firewood here. We would definitely camp here again. We were in a non-electric, standard site.
