Great location for riding and shuttling mountain bikes, good tasting high-pressure water, clean and warm showers, clean bathrooms, and well configured campsites.

Because politicians refused to govern, the Federal shutdown closed paid campgrounds in National Forests. Pretty much says it all.

Beautiful space, nice campsites, including a nice fairly new set of bathrooms with showers. Campsite host was very friendly and helpful too.

First there was NO sign saying turn here for the office to check in. I drove down a very poor dirt forest road with my camper. Almost could not turn around. Second this park needs serious maintenance. The vegetation is way overgrown since the last time I came. You need to cut back the trees and the overgrowth everywhere. They need an electric plug to use in the restroom for shaving and blowdryers. . Also the vault restrooms by my campsite were closed. Way too many fishermen are using the stream. No place to sit and enjoy the stream. This place has gone downhill in the last few years

We LOVED this campsite. The location was beautiful, the site was spacious, and had everything we needed for tent camping. We loved how close the campsite was to South Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway as well.

Very tidy campgrounds with a wonderful creek running through the center. The campsites were well maintained and the host/hostess were courteous and helpful.

No clear way to check in, so I just parked at my reserved spot. Camping spot was large, bordered by poison ivy on 2 sides. Shower facility was in a different loop across the bridge, pit toilets were close.

Fantastic location. Beautiful. Quiet. No cell service. Loved the close river access and walking trails. Some sites arent designated correctly (not correct measurements for trailers). We had to move sites. On site manager was helpful with finding alternative sites for our reservation window.
