Very nice campground with close proximity to Asheville and Biltmore Estate. Stayed in a full-hookup site. Nice paved site fairly level. Good AT&T signal. Sites were nicely spaced.

The campgrounds are very nice. They are kept up and camp sites are a good size. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Great facilities, easy check-in, nice level RV spot. We were charmed by the beautiful lakeside mountain scenery. Close to civilization but not too close! We are definitely planning another visit!

We loved this park, especially the wooded campsites with lots of privacy and the close proximity to the trails to the Arboretum.

Great campground for mountain bike enthusiasts close to Asheville we used the parkway then hop on 25 to avoid construction on 26 to travel to the city plenty of breweries within 20 minutes bears are active in campgrounds

Beautiful campground on Asheville's doorstep, yet has the rural woodsy character that defines the perfect getaway. Easy access to BRP, Hendersonville, Black Mountain. The campground hosts are among the best I've ever seen. Friendly and efficient, and not once was the bath house anything but spotless. We will be back.

Really nice, quiet campground and close to downtown Asheville. A little tight getting into site. Site was spacious w a blacktop pad. FHUs which was great. Could barely see neighbors.

There is something different now about this place after camping there for many years. Had to clean campsite before we could set up. Bathrooms were clean. Younger staff was less caring than staff in previous years. Pisgah group does not seem to be doing as good of a job as Cradle of Forestry(now FIND) did in the past.

Lake Powhatan is a very small lake. Site 36 is tight to get into and required tongue leveling but was very nice. Very little cell service.

We loved it at Lake Powhatan. The campgrounds have nice sites and are maintained well. It was a little difficult getting into our site due to the angle of the site to the road but it wasn’t impossible. The one negative is there was little to no Verizon cell service in the campground.

We had such a great time biking and camping at the Lake- the campgrounds we’re so clean and we can’t wait to come back & bring some friends!

The park is very clean, camphosts were helpful and on top of everything. Sites were all well taken care of. I would come back for sure!
