In the beginning everything was great - the people are friendly and helpful, both of our cars fit on the single site, clean bathroom with large showers. However we had to leave a night early, the campsite was completely flooded. Totally bummed out we paid for 2 nights and had to leave at 7:30pm because of it.

Very pleasant experience. Nice and quiet, restful. Electricity at more sites would be very helpful.

The park and campground are very nice, lots of trees between sites with plenty of privacy. It is close to many trails, right from the campground or within a short drive. Take the Blue Ridge Parkway, there are many trails available. The sites for RVs are rather small, we were in Lakeside loop with full hookup, our site was tight (we have 35feet travel trailer). The staff at the campground was helpful and we enjoyed proximity to Asheville for shopping and restaurants.

Nice level spots with plenty of room to accommodate our 36 foot RV with tow vehicle.
Clean environment.
Convenient to sites to hike and be adventurous.

Loved that all sites were shaded. Lake was very pretty. Nice place for families. Only downside for. 57 year old couple was treat it is all hilly. Campsites near the lake were still a bit of a climb.

nice little park, right outside of Asheville, Brevard and Hendersonville areas. During our camping trip we were able to go hiking, shop in downtown Asheville after visiting a nice little park, go gem mining in Brevard and we finished off by spending half a day exploring the Biltmore House and the grounds.
