We really enjoyed this campground. Friendly helpful staff, quiet, well maintained and clean. Good fishing. Lots of hiking trails. Only complaint was a lack of trail maps.

Nice campsites between the trees and good facilities with heated showers near the campsite.

Love this campground - have come here several times. Wry convenient to NC Arboretum and BRP plus other Ashville attractions.

We only stayed one night, but the grounds and campsites were very nice. The staff were helpful, too.

The campground is well managed. The restrooms are clean, the people are friendly and helpful. Cell service (Verizon) was spotty, but there was a "cell service area" in the campground that seemed to get a better signal most of the time. Our site was relatively level (site 53), but somewhat difficult to back our rig in to as the angle of the drive, and the edge of the road, made turning and maneuvering somewhat challenging (and we're not novice campers).

We went for a Thanksgiving mountain bike trip and this place delivers. Lots of gravel riding for her and lots of single track for him :) ! We camped in a 31' toy hauler trailer pulled with a Ford F-350. Site was long enough but a little thin but no problems fitting in. Temps were in the 20's at night and everyones water hose supply froze up a little. Ours stopped flowing but we had fresh water in the tank and juts used it until everything thawed out around noon. There are electric heaters on the water supply.

Very well kept campsite; excellent bath house; lake, hiking trails and just a short drive into Asheville. Easy to find and very pretty location.

Our trip was great, the sites are big! I feel that the woods are too thick and therefore allows lots of homes for many bugs. Bugs were bad this year!

Beautiful setting, wooded sites with privacy, LOTS of hiking accessible from campsite, close to Asheville, friendly and helpful hosts and hostesses.
Only issue is the lack of cell service and WiFi.

Wonderful place to camp if you want to totally disconnect. NO CELL or INTERNET service!!!

New campground management is doing an excellent job. Very welcoming and helpful. The trail system that connects to the arboretum is outstanding.

Very friendly staff. Spacious site. Clean. Good hookup.

Only problem was no internet service or cell service. Forget about using your phone as a hot spot. Could barely make a phone call. And I had a booster antenna. I needed access to get info about things in our RV and we were dead in the water.

Easy in and out. We have a 35ft travel trailer and we had no problems. It snowed Christmas Eve and Christmas and the roads were kinda bad. We ended up paying for another day to wait for the ice to melt so we could leave. Worst part of this area is we had no data service and only 1 bar for phone calls. When we wanted to get directions or find a place to eat we had to wait until we drove 5 mins down the road to be able to get service! Full hook ups with a heated water spout. Site was a concrete pad which was very level. We were on site 35 on the lakeside loop. We hiked twice starting right from our site. Included fire ring in our site was great even though the reservation did not mention it. Over all we would stay again! We love Asheville
