Too much noise well after quiet time passed, till 1:00 am in fact. A group of young people in the glamping area were yelling and screaming. The campground host and the staff did nothing about it. I mentioned this to the staff when I checked out. Also, on Saturday a family camped behind us and let their 4 kids run around and through everybodys campsite including ours until I yelled at them to stop that behavior. Doesnt the campers read the campground rules? Theres a lack of patrolling by staff to keep things under control. We visit these places for rest and relaxation and to appreciate nature not to hear people yelling and screaming!!

Campsites were clean and well spaced. The restrooms and showers were also very clean and warm to boot. Plenty of hot water for showers. We loved the close proximity of the trails and yet just a quick drive from downtown Asheville. Will definitely book again.

I absolutely loved our stay here. We were in the hard times loop site #65 and it was beautiful. The changing of the leaves made it so much more so. I also enjoyed the fact that the sites werent right on top of one another; you had your own space which was wonderful. We were super close to the bathrooms which was nice. They were heated!! Huge plus in my book, especially since 2 out of the 3 nights we stayed got below freezing. The showers were my only complaint; they were clean, but there is almost no water pressureyou have to stand up against the wall to wash yourself. But Ill take running water over none any day! The ladies at the booth when you come/go from the campground were all super nice and very helpful! Overall, I will definitely make my way back here for another stay! Loved it!

I visited the park in November and it was very cold at night. However, the bathrooms and the showers where I stayed (the hard times loop) were heated so that was very nice. At the campsite there wasnt great cell service; I was able to call my family but I wasnt able to connect to the internet.

Campsites and staff were great. The only thing that could use improvement is the showers. The nozzles spray too close to the wall and low water pressure.

Wonderful clean facilities super friendly staff. Excellent mountain biking and access from campsite.
