Very nice campground. Spacious sites, friendly staff, beautiful location. Close to all the Asheville tourist attractions. We have a Class A motorhome and found the roads from the interstate to the campground challenging. They are narrow and winding.

Great location next to Arboretum, Ashville and a few good trails. Lakeside is awesome for site benefits, close to lake and large sites are pretty private with good spacing.

Very nice quiet park. Jimmy, the front camp host was extremely nice and accommodating. There are only a handful of sites for larger rigs like ours (40 ft motorhome) and only 1 that would be considered level... which was not the one we were assigned... :/ but we managed. We were grateful for so many aspects of the park. The peace and quiet was awesome after traveling and staying in noisy overnight parks. We were mainly in the area to visit family and it is very close and convenient to Asheville, Biltmore, Farmers Market and airport.

Very tight roads and spots, not big rig friendly. Park was quiet, host nice. No wifi, cellular, or satellite.

Lake very small. Maps need a lot of work to show trails and area to scale. Campsite was very nice, clean and private.

We loved our stay at Lake Powhatan! The site was ready for us and all we did was park, hook-up and relax! The site was very clean and the bathrooms and showers were also very clean! We felt safe and the other campers were friendly also! Even though we live in Bent Creek, we will be back to camp just because it feels like we have travelled far!
