We enjoyed the stay and the trails. The restroom / showers need a little updating and cleaning. However, we used them the length that we stayed (7 days).

This campground is a hidden gem. Its quiet and yet convenient to stores, restaurants, and MCAS Cherry Point. There are sites large enough for big rigs, that are virtually level. The walking/biking trails are extra nice! We will be back

Beautiful area the hosts are very nice everything is so quiet and peaceful. Theres plenty of room to walk around and interact with not just nature but some of the wildlife in the area. I liked how we were far enough from everything else to be able to enjoy the peace and quiet, but close enough to go to the store and get anything we mightve forgotten or need. This is my second time here and me and my family absolutely love this place and have decided to make this trip an annual thing!!!

It is a great place and would be even better if they would get the beach open. The gate is a little annoying but I get it.

Very nice stay but remember to fill your water tank before you back into your site. Otherwise if you are like us, you get to back in twice!

Nice area and local. Enjoyed hiking and great fire pit setup to cook meals outside. Although it was busy, it was quiet from other sites.

Had a great time at Flanners Beach Campround. After the weather cleared out my wife and I went on walks around the campground and on the trails. The only downside is that you cannot get to the beach. After a previous hurricane destroyed the beach and they haven't fixed it yet. They have it blocked off so you can't get to it. This is our second stay here and will be coming back again.

Very nice private camping area if your looking to enjoy nature at its best in a national forest. The property is beautifully lined with lots of trees and gives every camp site privacy. The restroom and showers were always clean. My family and I will definitely be coming back to North Carolina for a visit.

We had a very good time and walked the trails. Only bad thing I have to say is the day use area and beach access area were closed off.

Nice little park. Most campsites are pretty large with trees in between. A few spots are not big rig friendly, but more are. Camp host worked real hard to grounds clean and leaf free. You can tell he really enjoys his hosting gig. Took a day trip to New Bern and its a very nice town. Would stay again.
