No water. It kind of ruined the whole trip.

We have stayed at Flanners Beach several times, because it is close to all our grand kids. Never had any issues booking a site. Love the area.

Location was great, the campsites private, but mine had trash all over it when I arrived. Camp host didn't bother to get the campsite ready for the next camper... but why would they? The camp host site was littered with junk, old equipment, trash. Really, it defeated the whole point of getting out in nature. A complete eyesore. The picnic bench on my site was unable to be moved at all. Usually it's on a tether and you can adjust it for your situation, but no the silly thing was impaled right in the middle of the campsite. Ruined the great campsite. What is up with that??

The camp site was beautiful and in a good location. Not far from Cherry Point and the Crystal Coast. Also close to New Bern.

Even though it rained all day Saturday, we had a lovely time. The site was big and worked out fine. There were walking trails all around. The bathhouse was clean. Very nice campground.

Nice park but limited river access. Great camp host

The campground was very nice and a great place to walk. The paved pathways were great for strollers and bikes. I would love to see Flanner's Beach restored or at the very least, a pier built to enjoy the view.

Nice until we met the hosts pointing sticks at us and yelling at us. Very odd and unacceptable. Claimed we were speeding when clearly we were not. You need new hosts . Very sloppy people. There seems like a lot of complaints about them confronting guests in an unprofessional manner. No toilet paper the entire time in the rest rooms.

Great park, large sites, clean bathrooms just wish the beach was open! Really disappointed that there has been and will be no effort to restore the are.

Very clean campground, sites are large and accommodating, some with electric but no water or sewer hookup, so must fill your tanks with water and dump your tanks when you leave. Picnic area and the beach area was closed off because of damage from hurricane Florence till about March 2022. There are some nice paved trails around campground surrounding area.

Overall campground was nice and quiet. Lots of trails for hiking. Wish they would put a set of stairs in place so you could once again have access to the beach area. Only negative is that the hand soap dispenser in bathroom ran out Friday afternoon and when we left Sunday it still had not been refilled.

This is a smaller, mostly primitive campground. There is a selection of 50 amp electric only sites (no water on site, but potable water at the front & select spigots around the campground). We have a 30ft travel trailer. We enjoyed our stay despite the beach being closed due to hurricane damage and COVID. The bathrooms and showers were nice and clean with great water temperature and pressure. Short drive to outer banks beaches and within 10 minutes of a Walmart for supplies. We enjoyed our stay and will be back!
