The sites were large and in fine shape. Quiet friendly campers. Host was seen busy maintaining the campground. Great access to nearby great hike. Recommend this to all.

Cedar Point Campground is absolutely the best campground near the coast of NC. It is very clean and quiet. The bathhouses are clean. The hosts are available if needed.

The sites were very spacious and level. Great sunsets over the water just a short walk or bike ride away. The trails are nice, and the area is very clean. Although it's a good distance away you could hear cars on a nearby highway, so you're not as secluded as the campground feels. The bathhouse could also use more frequent cleaning. There were two occasions where my wife and daughter chose to shower in the camper due to the condition of the showers. The bathrooms are heated & the shower rooms are not, which also made it less appealing. Overall, a very nice & spacious campground.

We were really disappointed to learn that we could not pitch our tents on the grass. How would we possibly kill the grass in the two nights we were there? There was no usable shade in our campsite, despite the online description as shady. Neither camp host was available all day when we arrived; we hoped to move to another campsite, but when the host finally called us (we found a ranger), she said we could not trade campsiteswed have to pay for another campsite, and would not be reimbursed for the first night or possibly the second since by the time they called us back it was less than 24 hours before the second day began.I understand that this is an RV campground, but some sites are definitely better for tent camping. Pitching a tent on blacktop (our only option, since the using the gravel area around the table and fire pit would have been dangerous due to the proximity of fire and heat) was less than ideal (how can you put tent stakes in gravel?) we feel that this campground could certainly accommodate tent campers much better, especially those of us short time campers! There are just not many people using tents anymore, despite being easier on the environment! We already had to pay for two nights of an electrical hook up that we couldnt use. The campground itself is beautiful; bathrooms and showers clean and in good working order. Its just a shame that tent camping is just not welcome there.

We love this campground. Nice spacious sites that are level. Great safe place to ride bikes. No water at site so you have to fill your holding tank on arrival. Host was very nice, personable, and concerned about the guests.

This is a very nice little campground that we frequent and have enjoyed immensely for the last 10+ years and normally I’d give it 5 stars. However, on our last trip, new campground hosts had just taken over and they did not get off to a great start. The bathrooms were completely out of toilet paper and soap at 0800 in the morning. I very politely visited the hosts to report the issue and was told they’d get right on it.” An hour later they still had not fixed things....and we left soon after. I’m hoping they just need more time to get the hang of things. The previous hosts were awesome!

It is an AMAZING little campground. 35+- sites, well spaced. Super friendly Host and Co-Host. Very clean and well kept. Good roads. Clean bathhouse. You are near the edge of nearby marsh and there is a super walking trail thru marsh with multiple bridges across the waterways. You can use crab nets and chicken necks off bridges to catch blue crab. You feel like you are deep in woods, but are actually near lots of amenities. Site 16 and site 1 were great. There are really no bad sites. Fill up with water before you park, as this park is electricity only. The dump station is an easy pull thru at end of your trip.Sites are very flat and level. We love this little campground and plan to visit here a LOT in 2021.

Cedar Point offers a quiet and beautiful setting. The facilities are older, but very sufficient. We stayed on site 1 for seven nights and site 15 for three nights. The location is convenient to public beach access, food markets, restaurants, and fuel. There a dump station and potable water fill.
