We arrived to find the previous campers were still in our reserved spot. The camp host was awesome about it and put us in a first come first serve site that was better then our reserved site so we were happy about that. The other campers actually stayed two additional nights at our reserved site which was something that has never happened to us in almost 10 years of camping. Not sure if they paid or just stayed two additional nights for free. I hope this is not a trend that we see in the future cause it is ridiculous and people need to have their camper towed away for it. Other than that everything was good at Cedat Point as usual.

Campground was nice and quiet and bathrooms were clean. We loved the Cedar Point Tideland trail which was easy to walk to from the campground.

The campground is clean and well maintained. Peaceful and quiet. There is a river estuary to kayak in. The beach is about 20 min. Away. We have stayed here several times and will return again hopefully.

Campsites were so spacious and shaded with lots of green space. Hiking the trails along the marsh was refreshing.

Nice quiet campground with close access to the waterfront and trails nearby.
Wow, what a great campsite. We had plenty of space between our site and the next. The site was paved, had a picnic table, and fire pit. The location was easy to get to. It was nice to be in the woods but only a mile from grocery stores. Cedar Point has a water fill, and dump station. I would recommend staying here, it was quiet, and relaxing.
My wife and I camp here because we love the peace and solitude. We're from the area, so the beaches, quaint towns, kayaking and shopping aren't that important to us, although there's plenty of those things available.
sites and campground were very clean. host was very good even though i think it is a 2 man job. showers and bathrooms were clean The sites have electric. I wish they had water also.

Quiet, peaceful camping experience Sunday through Thursday but I don't recommend the weekends! This is an RV park within a small segment of the forest with decent sized sites, clean bath facilities and electricity. It feels like a small State Park experience, actually. Within the gate, there's a 1.3 mile walking trail that's well-used with water views that's nice and you're just 4 miles to Emerald Isle. Not an off the grid, forest experience by any means but a pleasant one.
Very nice campground with level sites spaced fairly well apart. There is noise to contend with from the nearby Marine base. Cell signal on both Verizon and AT&T is strong. Emerald Isle beach is minutes away as are many stores and restaurants. Trails nearby are great for hiking. Hosts are terrific!
Beautiful quiet secluded RV camp site! Bathrooms were warm and comfy, the woodsy atmosphere made it very nice and felt far from the city...but NOT far at all! We rode our bikes, took our dogs for walks and enjoyed the peace of the campground!
Campground was clean, people friendly and host attentive, weather not so good, but relaxing non the less. we"ll be back.
