Bath house unattended first 5 days of stayGrass hadn't been cut for a whileWhen grass did get cut it was by someone that knows nothing about keeping grass clippings off campsites and drivesCamp host very inattentive to needs of campground said couldn't get needed funds for upkeep

Campground was kept very clean. Saw camp host ride bike around checking everything multiple times a day. Bathhouse was functional and showers were hot. Short walk to hiking trail that was well kept.

good base for kayaking trips in the area. Options for activities if water conditions are not good (aquarium, museum, hike, bike).

If you're tenting and not in an RV, be aware that the ground is very hard about 1-2 inches under the surface. You will have a difficult time getting your aluminum tent stakes deep enough to be effective, and will bend most of them. I recommend Steel tent stakes at this location. Otherwise the campground was nice for a September stay.

Beautiful campground and we enjoyed our campsite! We enjoyed walking to the Tideland Trail close by and seeing the salt marsh and some animals in the water! We cant wait to come back! Our visit was March 2023

The campground was very neat and clean, including the bathrooms and showers. The host was very visible but not in our faces the whole time, like we've experienced before. We have camped at Cedar Point for years and years and will gladly be back.

Good place, good people, fantastic beach at the South Emerald Isle access.. The parking fee collecting devices were removed for the Winter. All in all a great time for us and our dog. It would be nice if the spots had water and sewer.

The campground is great! However there was not a host anywhere to be found or to answer anyone to answer questions when calling on the phone.

No water at campsitesbut water available to carry to site. Fire ring was great with good strong grill. We went to Pine Knolls Aquarium about a half hour drive away. Also took a walk at the ocean approximately 5 miles away. Showers and bathhouse clean and close.

Beautiful campground with lots of trees for shade and well spaced sites. Poorly managed but could be a prime campground with better management.

Low voltage is potential problem for camper electricals

Nice level sites, was expecting water but that is my misreading ammenties. Bathroom and showers could be cleaner and the dumpster was overflowing the 4 days we were there. It was a thursday to sunday.

Had a great time, love the large level campsites with lots of space between sites. Nice clean quiet campground, my favorite place to camp.

I absolutely love this campground. It’s always well kept the restrooms are clean the showers are clean. The host is so nice. I’ll be camping here for years as I have an in the past. I absolutely love the area.

Good campground. Bathhouses need updating . Water spickets throughout the campground don't work ??????
