We have stayed at this campground many times because it is so nice, quiet, and well kept. The hosts that we have had contact with have always been polite and easy to talk to. We love that it is paved and each site is easy to park in. We also love that there is so much to do in the area. This past time we walked the campground and nearby trails, kayaking, shopping, and visited Emeralk Island, Beaufort, Morehead City and Fort Macon. We wanted to visit the lighthouse but it is under reconstruction so we will be back to do that another time.

Cedar Point is a beautiful campground located within just a few minutes of shopping, beaches and fine restaurants. If you want peace and quiet surrounded by the beauty of nature, this is it. Campsites are paved, and have plenty of space on the graveled area for picnicking or tenting. Each site has 50/30/115 hookups. Potable water is located conveniently throughout. The campground has only one dumpstation. The bath and showers are located in the center of the campground and are clean.
My only complaint is the campground host. He was rude and not friendly... the total opposite of the definition of a host. He has a "I'm the boss here, so get used to it" attitude. My friend who camped here accidentally had two wheels of his truck on the grass, and the "host" came by and made a scene. My friend is a gracious man and not confrontational and did not deserve the rude treatment he got. I don't know who is in charge of the hosts, but this man definitely needs some training or told to move on.

Love this campground. Sites are spacious and neat, bathhouse clean. Definitely plan to go back, soon!

Extremely quiet campground, with nicely spaced leveled spots. We had no problems backing in, fire rings and electric were perfectly located.
Very short drive to Emerald Island Beaches.

The bathrooms were heated, however the individual showers were not and the "hot" water was lacking within minutes. Since there is no water, sewer the showers could have been better for the cooler weather.
Otherwise, nice, clean and quiet.
