Lot # 17 was really GrEaT! We had a good view of the lake. It was peacefully and relaxing atmosphere. Thankful we camped here for OuR first trip. We did have to be careful with a low tree limb on OuR fifth wheel. We were NoT sure if we should have relocated or NoT.

This campground is so pleasant, peaceful, and scenery is nice overlooking lake. Not a large campground but that’s why we like to visit it. Trails are nice, too. The campground host is awesome. We only wish the campground would stay open year round.

The campground is very peaceful and well kept. The care takers are very friendly and always willing to chat and make sure you enjoy your stay. One of our favorite campgrounds.

Beautiful, well maintained park and campground with playground and swim beach.. Plenty of shade. Disc golf course is for experts and could benefit from restructuring for the general public and maintenance. Doesnt look like it is played often. Could use signage to get from hole to hole. Biking trails seem to be well maintained. Some hiking trails could use clearing. Boat ramps and piers are nice. Wonderful campground host. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had site 18 with a good view of the lake. We walked on the path around the lake and it was nice. The only drawback about our stay was the horseflies!

What a beautiful find! We booked this as it was close to the Trace Parkway and within our daily driving range. We arrived late but had two very helpful campers help us get settled into our spot. Some of the sites are oriented a bit strangely (we were in #18 and had to back in at an angle parallel to the street but very roomy) but all are very spacious and ours had an amazing lake view. Very well maintained and would love to go there again if ever in the area. Highly recommended.

We have been camping in our 36' fifth wheel for 8 years and this park is by far the most beautiful of all the parks we have been to (and we've camped in all the 48 continental states). Not only was it beautiful and quiet, Jerry, the host, was incredibly helpful and friendly and the trails well kept and wonderful. The countryside is also magnificent.

Very clean campground. However not allowing kayaks on the lake nor fishing was totally uncalled for; asinine to be exact. Excuse was people were illegally fishing from kayaks. Why not up the Park Ranger patrols and make your presence known? We saw a ranger pass through the campground while there by the way. Why punish the masses for the actions of a few? I should be able to enjoy ALL activities of a National Forest as a tax payer especially while paying a camping fee also.
