Our site was close to the dam, so it took us a while to get used to the sound of the water. The park is very clean and has a great fitness trail, which is in new condition and has many workout stations. We enjoyed our stay.

I found the campsites to be well maintained and well designed. Mine had both electrical and water supplies specific to my site. It was also nice that there was an abundance of free firewood. I also found the lake and small island just offshore to be very scenic.

Beautiful lake and campground! Can't wait to go back! If you're looking for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend with the family this is the place to be.

This campground has a lot of potential and I understand the host is bringing it back. Probably lack of resources but still worth the trip.

The Park is awesome and the camp host Chuck is a really great guy and does an amazing job of making everyone feel welcome and safe.He has also done an amazing job keeping the camp clean. I have been coming here for years and this is the best I think I have ever seen here.I love the newly renovated sites.

Loved the campground hist! Very helpful and knowledgeable. Campground was really nice. Great sites and pretty lake. Good trails for exploring.

Camp Hosts greeted us as we pulled in. Filled us in on what was available and where it was. We asked about fire wood. Before we had backed into the site, he had delivered a small arm load of split wood. Wish we had more time to explore the place more thoroughly.

Was only able to stay 2 nights had to leave early. Work in progress. Chuck the host is working wonders at this park.

A really nice campground area, however, the bathhouses were closed due to vandalism & the whole rec area is being shut down, closed completely because of that & not being able to get good, responsible camp hosts. Really a shame as the sites are roomy some w/electric & water, all have fire rings & grills. The Army Corp of Engineers always does a great job with all their campgrounds & recreation areas. Too bad this one will be closed indefinitely. Very sad.

Had been coming here for 6 years but missed a year with the COVID shut down. Came back this year to no camp host, bathrooms/showers locked up tight, and terrible, terrible road conditions. The new trailer pads were nice but we cut our trip short due to the creepy ghost town atmosphere and repeated falls into potholes when trying to go anywhere. Really sad. Thanks for the memories but that's it for us.
