Ive been using Rec. com for years staying at different camp locations I stay at a location that best meets my needs for my other activities While at my last and other stays the personal is always courteous and always offers help, there were 6 people I meet that worked there and everyone of them were courteous and professional

Everything about this campground was great. Visited during off season. Loved the staff. Lost my AirPods and got a huge amount of help trying to find them. Although they ended up being found on trail, not in the campground, they did everything they could to help me out. Much appreciated. Love this campground and will definitely be back!!!

Awesome campground. The clearance along the road is too low for many RVs. Many branches need to be trimmed. It is obvious that campers are hitting the overhead branches. At a minimum a sign should be installed stating that there are many spots with too low a clearance.

The park is beautiful but... The prices are ridiculous for not full hookup. It's less expensive camping at the intercostal water with full water and electrical hookup. The campsite is really pretty and the water is beautiful. The showers have nice hot water but shower heads were clogged. We camp here a lot and usually the camp host are nice. This time the camp host were rude. They walked right up in our friends campsite and was snooping around while he was taking a nap in his camper. Then yelled at him for having paper in his fire ring. Hopefully she won't be there next time.

Well maintained quiet park. We were there Wednesday and Thursday, lots of open sites. Site backed up to bathrooms which has very bright lights. Next time I will pick a site farther away.

Very quiet park. Well maintained bath house and grounds. Staff is friendly and helpful. Note that contrary to the web site this is a no hookup park. Cellular signal for Verizon was good.

This was our 3rd time visiting with a large group of about 10-12 families that go annually. The park is beautiful and peaceful in itself. Unfortunately, this year, we had a negative encounter with Jim, the campground host. We were taking pictures of our kids in a beautiful tree while they sat on a low lying branch, about 4 feet off the ground. He comes out of his camper and in a very nasty manner starts yelling at us about killing a 100 year old tree. When we couldnt completely understand what he was saying, another mom said Im sorry, I cant hear you and he barked back at her well thats obvious! Get down before I call the ranger and give you a citation. At first we all thought he was joking. When we realized he was just a nasty old curmudgeon, we said ok and they got out of the tree. We asked him if there is a law about tree climbing because we had never heard of it nor did we see a sign about it. We certainly were not intending to break any laws. When we got back to our camp, we checked the campground rules and never saw anything about tree climbing. For heavens sake, weve climbed trees our whole lives without breaking any laws. We all want our kids off electronics and to enjoy the outdoors, then to run into this nasty jerk, was disappointing to say the least. And even if this is a rule, why be so nasty and speak to us in such a rude manner. So if this park seems to be loosing guests, I have a pretty good idea of why. I think Jim wants the entire park to himself. If you decide to give this park a try, good luck and beware of Jims rules. For our next family camping trip, we will be looking elsewhere, where kids are allowed to be kids and climb trees
