Coleene ar admissions was very friendly and accommodating. We found the Pavilion clean and well maintained. The Springs was refreshing to our crowd who had brought their own kyacks for paddling down and back to the Springs. One regret, the Nature Trail was closed. To some, thats the highlight of the visit.

Beautiful spring and grounds. We rented one of the pavilions, which was almost perfect. We would love to camp there, but the lack of electric and water at each site is a dealbreaker. However, we love to come for the day and will definitely be back.

I recently had a frustrating experience with Alexander Springs due to their confusing booking process and poor customer service. While the location itself may be beautiful, the administrative side needs significant improvement.Confusing Booking Process:When searching Camping Alexander Springs, I followed the links to make a reservation. Day Use Site A appeared alongside other campground options, and terms like Day Use and Group Picnic Area didnt clearly indicate the site wasnt suitable for camping. These terms are often associated with campgrounds, adding to the confusion. Additionally, the invoice stated 1 night, which led me to believe I had successfully booked a campsite.Refund Request Nightmare:After realizing the mistake, I submitted a refund request, expecting a quick resolution. Instead, I spent an entire month following up repeatedly. The lack of clear communication and delays made the process unnecessarily stressful. While I eventually received the refund, it shouldnt have taken so long.Suggestions for Improvement:Clarify booking terms to avoid misleading visitors.Update invoices to ensure accuracy and avoid terms like 1 night for non-camping reservations.Improve customer service to ensure refund requests are handled promptly and professionally.While the refund was eventually issued, this experience left me frustrated and disappointed. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and implements changes to prevent similar issues for future visitors.

my 90th birthday party in pavillion A. Most guests came to Alexander Springs for the first time and loved it. Most of all, me. Please tell your administration to get the hiking trails repaired and open to us again. I know, there is no money for the cleanup but how long is this going to last? Raise hell with your bosses and open those trails. And give you a raise. Thanks. Clyde Stephens

We rented a pavilion for the day so we did not have to get to the park so early in the morning. However, only one parking spot was reserved for us. The other people in our party had to get there early to ensure they could get in. It took them 90 minutes to get in after the park opened. Another couple who planned to come didn’t because they didn’t want to wait to get in.

Overall, the park was clean, and we enjoyed our time while we were there. We just didn’t like that with the cost of renting the pavilion that the day use fee wasn’t included (at least for a # of people) and we only had 1 reserved parking space. It defeated the purpose of putting in how many we had in our party when I made the reservation because it didn’t matter.

Ultimately, get there early and don’t pay for the pavilion!!

The vultures are bothersome. Be sure to bring containers that can be tightly sealed so your whole family can leave the picnic area and swim together. Otherwise, you will need at arrange for at least one person to hang out with hour stuff at all times to keep the vultures away.
