Nice facility. Some campsites were a lot better than others. Rode bike trails, which were a little too sandy, but good exercise.

Awesome camp site (56), facilities we very well cleaned and restocked. Kayak launch was very nice and the spring run was a beautiful kayaking trip. We were hoping the board walk trail would have been open but is closed for repairs. There is a nice access to the Florida trail right outside the main gate. The Ocala National Forest visitor center was very cool and a must see. Overall great place to camp, definitely will be back.

Park and facilities were well kept and staff very friendly. Most guests adhere to the 10 o'clock quite time. However, prior to quite time it can get a bit noisy with loud guests and generators. The traffic on the highway can be a bit noisy as well.

Great campsite!! Clean and well taken care of. Loved how big the campsites were and that you had a nice buffer between sites for privacy.

Each campsite has a bear-safe box, a fire ring, and a fire-grill stand. Our site had been raked and cleaned before our arrival, too. The bathrooms are clean and well-supplied. There was ample firewood available for purchase, too. Overall, an excellent stay!

We have been camping at Alexander Springs for many years and have never been disappointed like we were this year! The park facilities were in disrepair and in desperate need of attention and care. The bathrooms were closed numerous times while we were there for our 6 day visit. When all bathrooms were open, not ONCE did the bathrooms get cleaned! It was disgusting, unsanitary and unacceptable for your visitors. The girls trash can overflowed with feminine products and was a hazard to our young girls. Also, there was very little water pressure, and several times our spigots were not even providing water. We had a group of 17 people in numerous sites, and that is unhealthy and unacceptable. We were not given any warnings about lack of fresh water or issues with your bathrooms! Finally, you allow 100's of park visitors inside your gates knowing the campground is already compromised with water pressure issues? And, if the park is taking in $10 per person, can't some of that money be utilized for park services? Possibly consider port o potties, as even the main bathrooms were out and they were STILL letting more people in the park. It would help keep return customers/campers coming back year after year. Highly disappointing. Finally, why can't the camp store be open? When we went to rent canoes, there is no sign on the doors on how to proceed with any kind of rental. It took us 10-15 minutes to track down a park person, then get redirected up to the ranger station. Just put a sign on the door! We love this park and hope whoever is managing this property gets their S*#T together, no pun intended.
Last, but certainly not least, trying to CHANGE a reservation at recreaton.gov was a total nightmare and we spent HOURS trying to get our reservations modified. Not only did our group find it time consuming, frustrating and ridiculous..so did various other campers we talked to. Come on, we love camping, y'all can do better ;o)

A beautiful space. Lots of trees and the park staff are friendly and helpful unlike a lot of places. That's why we've been going here for years!

A coworker suggested this place for a quick camping trip. So glad we went, we have a great time! Our campsite was on the outer path and was really impressed with how big a site we had. The springs are beautiful, the canoe trip was a nice way to spend a couple hours in the morning! We'll definitely go back
