Well kept campsite that was very private. Cold weather kept many campers away. Staff was very nice and helpful. Bathroom and showers were well maintained. The springs are beautifulbut it was too cold to swim. Would certainly visit this area again .

Site 50 was very quiet and peaceful. Overall very relaxing experience.

Park employees were pleasant and tried to be helpful. Our site was close to a camper who ran his generator all day, as much as the quiet time rules allowed and beyond.I had to walk over to the site at 11pm, 1 hour AFTER quite hours start, to ask him to turn off the generator. The parks need to implement new rules for generator use!Beyond the generator issue, the springs were wonderful! The bathrooms and showers were clean and maintained well. We would like to visit again to hike more trails and see more of the area. Maybe there wont be a generator running all day and night on our next visit.

Had a very private site with lots of greenery so pretty quiet. Staff was great. Lots to do with the spring for swimming and kayaking and some dirt trails for biking. An older campground but kept up well. Had a great visit.

We loved this state park! Make sure you rent a canoe or kayak to explore the river. We saw so much wildlife.

This might be the mist beautiful and restful place we stayed at in Florida m: the park really is a must to visit. There electricity and a fresh water connection at every rv spot, several and very clean dump stations, there's plenty of space between the spots and therefore a lot of privacy and the location is just gorgeous: everything you hope to find at a camping spot.

Alexander Springs is a beautiful park with excellent camp sites that provide a more private experience than other park campgrounds.

Beautiful area and accessible to everyone. We camped there over labor day weekend and canoed, biked and hiked. There was plenty to do and the facilities were good. My only recommendation....the concessionaire at the spring could do better to have more food options available. The park service would do well to open a cafe there.

Beautiful spring, clean campground and bathrooms. Some of the trails are still not open.

very nice campground. Clean bath houses. The sites were large and spaced out well, had a nice picknick table and fire ring. Sandy soil so no mud even after rain. The river was great for paddle boarding.really enjoyed the natural feel this campground had. Will definitely be back.

Love this park. First time visitors. Great sites. The park ranger / camp host even came around to tell us about a launch over at the Kennedy Space Center that we could watch from there. What a nice gesture. Ladies bathroom needs some lights replaced that were burnt out please and needed cleaning. All in all, had a good experience there. Thank you!

Secluded, woodsy campsites and well-maintained restrooms & showers (thank you, staff!) make this a pleasant campground... the spring is gravy on the cake! Do NOT leave without swimming out to the springhead... you'll need a mask, and a snorkel is helpful .. you will see an underwater chasm that is spectacular!

Very nice place. We stay here as a family often. They charge $7 for a bag of wood which seems high. Canoe rentals are expensive too. Wanted to stay a third night but if you reserve your spot they make you switch sites for your stay beyond your reservation...even if no one has reserved your spot for that night.

This was our first camping trip. We greatly enjoyed the campground and spring. However, the bathrooms were out of order. We knew the campsites were considered primitive, but it's advertised as having bath houses. They do have port-a-potties, but the only showers are available on loop C between 8pm and 8am. Other than that, was a good first time camping experience. Campsite 50 is awesome!! You can tuck your tent behind two trees and it's barely visible from the road. Very secluded feeling.

Other than the spring, there was not a whole lot of amenities like a playground etc for kids. Bathrooms were kept decent although I did hear that only one shower house was available for use during our stay.

One complaint was after the frequent rain, the cemented area around the picnic area of our campsite became very slippery. My mother in law actually slipped and tore open her knee. In the future, maybe a less slippery surface should be used near the campsites.

Positives include; well kept /free of trash /litter, staff was friendly and helpful, location was very beautiful with many campsites to choose from, and the springs were very clear and relaxing.

Overall, we would stay again if there was no rain in the forecast
