Th Paisley Woods bike trail is awesome. The exhaust fans in the restrooms are terribly noisy. It doesnt have to be like that, and it wouldnt cost very much to replace them with quiet ones.

Great family campground, overall clean and friendly staff. With primitive caming only and the springs area closing at 6 pm, it makes the whole area pretty quiet, although we were there during the week and I heard it can get louder on weekends. The springs are in a gorgeous setting surrounded by a large forest with a wide wading area around a deep crevasse.

Staff was extremely friendly! Campsite was clean, quiet and relaxing. 10/10 will be camping here again.

Spring was closed due to alligator bite 2 weeks before. Staff is outstanding: friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and understanding. Bathrooms need to be pressure-cleaned.

Absolutely beautiful campground! My husband and I hiked in on the Florida trail from Clearwater Lake and we were tired and exhausted when we arrived but we found the campground to be very peaceful and relaxing. The staff is awesome and the spring is so beautiful but as hikers we were a little disappointed that the Seminole trail was closed down. The only thing I think they could improve on are the showers. There are no knobs to keep the water running and we had to keep pushing a button to get it going but despite that we were able to get cleaned up. We would definitely recommend it and would definitely camp here again!

Great place to swim and snorkel. Unfortunately the nature trail is closed.

The woman working at the check in had NO idea what she was doing. It's a long story, but she needs to be retrained.

This is an Outstanding facility. We had to leave early because of a family emergency, but I was not expecting the enhanced infrastructure this location has. The springs are beautiful and the shower building was a big surprise. The access to water and a dump station were also welcome. For a National Forest Service location it is exceptional.

We camped for four nights Sunday-Thursday. We enjoyed our stay so much. We went swimming in the springs, hiked through the woods, picked oranges nearby (short drive away) to make fresh squeezed orange juice... Tent camping with little kids was a success!

Alexander Springs is a wonderful location to camp. Plumbing, I’m glad to hear is a work in progress. Please take out the outdated rectangle concrete structures that once designated tent location. It only limits the sites space for tents. Family camping for the last fifteen years for Thanksgiving has been a joy at Alexander Springs. Imagine how shocked and disappointed we felt when campers due to use my site next we’re allowed to park in front of the site watching us pack up. That was rude and individuals should not be allowed on site until it’s cleared by you.

Alexander Springs was lovely. My camping site was huge, or at least I thought so. There was lots of room for my camper van and plenty of room for a tent. The springs were crystal clear, just beautiful. There are also some hiking trails. I recommend this.

Sadly, 2 of the 4 bath houses were closed/out of order during the month of March - when Spring Break vacations had the campground at capacity, created lines to use the toilets and showers; another downer is dogs are not allowed on the trails or at paddling launches ('day use' areas)

Excelent campsites surrounded by foliage. Well-maintained bathrooms though one was closed due to a pipe burst. The recreation area is amazing and the spring one of the best we've ever seen. Would have liked to have been able to bring our dog to the recreation area. Limiting to just the campground was a bit frustrating. Still fantastic for swimming, hiking and camping.
