The day we arrived there was a controlled burn that left ash floating through the campsites while we set up the tent. The hiking trails, apparently, have been closed for several years with no notice on their web site. This has led also to no fishing along the shorelines or from the overlook areas as well. That should be officially noted on their web site. Overall, the campsite itself was excellent along with the amenities and swimming.

Clean campground and facilities. Lots of trees and growth between camp sites.

Great site, c43. Clean when we arrived, plenty of privacy, and not far from the facilities. Miles of hiking and kayaking trails. Great fun. Firewood is a little expensive at $10 a bundle and needing 2 minimum each night. We will return

The springs were beautiful and our site was spacious and secluded. However, our neighboring campers created an unsafe situation by cutting down a tree and nearby palm fronds, creating a fire that was out of control. We contacted the park but they did nothing to intervene. There were over a dozen people on a site and they took over a friends campsites but the park did nothing even after we contacted them.
