We camped in the D Loop spot 65. We also had family members with us. They was in the campsite next to us and one acrossfrom us. The D Loop had a broken hot water heater the first night we had to go over to the C loop to take a shower the second night Loop B and C had no power so we had to go to Loop A to take a shower the bathroom seemed to have several issues and might need a little bit better of upkeep. You have a whole park and only one working bathroom for people to shower. the bathrooms were clean though. There was also an issue with the bear boxes on our campsites the bear box on site 65 we put our food in it and the lock on the box got stuck. We did not get it open until the next morning when a park person came to open it for us. My family member in the campsite next to us also had an issue with their bear box that would not lock at all so their box got left open all night. The inside of the bear box on 65 is excessively rusted on the inside. Campsite 65 is very spacious, but because it is next to the bathroom, there is a lot of traffic. The light from the bathroom lights up the site also. The kids had a lot of room to play even with two tents on the campsite. Campsite 65 is right next to the highway so you do hear traffic all night long.

Very nice park, however the concessionaire sure rips the public off on entrance fees.

A well established campground with generous sites and beautiful semi-tropical setting.

We stayed for 13 days in our 35ft Class A. Since we were boondocking we were close to the bathrooms which allowed us to shower. Very nice. Loved the Springs …spent a couple of days just reading and enjoying the area. We drove approx an hour to get to Daytona Beach, visited St Augustine, and Cocoa Beach. Nice location for us. Small towns around and beautiful country.

The springs were lovely as always, kayaked, swam, floated. The bathrooms in Loop D hadn't been cleaned in a while, although toilet paper was stocked. Concession stand closed, water spigot broken so couldn't wash feet off. Even though a paying camper, we were not allowed to park in the day use area, due to PAYING DAY USE folks.... I live nearby and it seems as if Alexander Springs is getting "run down", which is a real shame.

During my stay, the pipes has problem so the administration closes the bathroom since 8 am to 8 pm if we needed to use bathrooms they provided it two portable bathrooms. And you can't take a shower until they open the bathroom at evening time. In addition, the showers had spider web, insects and dirty walls. I have gone to other park and this experience has been the worst I have had so far.

Shower drains blocked by hair and debris obviously built up over a long period. Signage faded and sometimes almost unreadable due to green slime build-up.
