Campsite was nice and big. It had plenty of cover to make it it private. The restrooms were clean. The check in was nice and quick and informative . The girl remembered us from the prior month when we pulled up. That was a nice touch.

This was our second stay at Alexander Springs, and we love it! The campsites are clean, private and spacious. There is no electricity, but otherwise very nice. We love swimming in the spring and canoeing the river. All in all, a great park.

A loud gas leaf blower ran constanly near our site and around the campground loop we were in both both afternoons, as an obsessive blower thought it necessary to remove every leaf speck from the road and camp sites and bathroom paths. So loud, with a frequency that hurt my head. So much for a quiet experience in nature. Very uncomfortable, unnecessary and annoying.

We love Alexander Springs. We tend to go from 3-4 times per year. This time we got to the Springs and a really bad storm was coming our way that was going to last the whole time or our reservation. We ask to see if we could modify our dates or at least get a partial refund and still havent received a response. Fully recommend the park.

The hiking trail is still closed off. It's been over a year now or more. The sites were well kept as far as cleanliness. The bench table was damaged to the point of not being able to use it. The price of the site is a but crazy seeing is there wasn't and electric hookup or anything along that line. I've camped at quite a few sites and thought for that price we would get more.

Nice campsites separate from each other. Clean bathrooms with showers!

The camp is in a beautiful natural setting, but poorly managed by a concession. Bathrooms dirty. Sounds of gas blowers annoying for campers and must really disturb wildlife.

I enjoyed the park except I think it is totally unacceptable that pets are not allowed by the spring area. I understand that they should not go into the water but having them on the leash should be allowed. The bathrooms were not that clean. Need painted and updated toilet dispensers. Some of the sites were poorly Kayes out and the concrete/asphalt paving had potholes and people walking tripping. Pretty expensive for no electric of water at site compared to other state campgrounds.

This place is amazing! The staff is very friendly, the sites are good size and private. I really enjoyed my stay with my Addie dog.

Great spring to visit, kayaked most the day down the river and saw some great wildlife. Campsites are spacious and clean.

The spring is a must see but there are other activities. You can ride your bike and there are hiking trails that are not too challenging. The camping spots are shaded and well-spaced out so you can have some privacy. It's a nice, quiet place to camp and read and meditate on life. Love it and I'll be back again and again.

The campground is awesome! Perfectly set up to be able to accommodate two tents, cooking area and leisure activity areas. Plenty of space and trees between you and other campsites so you don't feel like you're camping in a parking lot. The springs are beautiful, canoeing absolutely amazing, awesome fishing! Camp staff was helpful and everything was in tip top shape. I do wish they would get the concession opened back up though. It was everything we were looking for! We've been trying to get out there to camp for years but have been unable to make a reservation. I know why now! It is the best campground in the Ocala National Forest, hands down. We'll be back!

Its hard without power and not able to run generator to sleep in the RV when the nights are hot. Everything else worked out great.
