The place is great is beautiful nice accomdations but try to Dont deal with the people in charge they jobs is to f)$&&& your vacation no matter what they look the way

This was our second time staying at Salt Springs and we love it here! The convenience of having a plaza across the street with everything you need is great! The primitive sites are large and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are cleaned daily with hot showers and the spring is beautiful!!

Salt Springs was a nice area to camp and swim. The spring water is beautiful and the water is refreshing. Since it’s summer, it was very busy and there were LOTS of people at the spring head. The bathrooms were always cleaned and available when I visited them on my 2 night stay. Showers were with warm water and pressure was rather intense. Trash cans were accessible to everyone and in good locations. Overall, highly recommend.

The next morning the idiot manager came barreling up into our campsites stopping his truck not even 3 feet away from my friends tent which now has her son right next to where he stopped and scared the bejesus out of him to the point where he jumped up crying and screaming mommy someone is trying to run us over hurry get out. At this point my husband and I were out of our tent sitting starting coffee when he showed up at this point he already has our blood boiling. The manager jumps out of his truck at 7am screaming loud enough to wake the other campers around us up, saying I said to remove a tent and now you can pack up and get out of here. We are a very quiet and respectful group that is in bed at 9 or 10. In the meantime we did everything asked of us but at this point I was ready to scream back I called him an idiot and showed him the tent we removed that was still sitting on the picnic table unfolded waiting to get put away and told him he needs to leave us alone and go scream at the incompetent idiots four sights down that was up all night fist fighting with the camp host and destroying the restrooms and leave us alone. We were told from a few employees that we were doing everything asked of and the manager was just having a bad weekend which is not our faults but he for some reason chose us to pick on. So we packed our stuff up on that Sunday morning which was a day early due to having such a horrendous weekend and left. We all decided at that point this manager ruined our weekend and we will never come back to this campground as long as he is the manager. I would love to have a full refund or even most money of the entire ruined weekend for both campsites I reserved. Also maybe a contact from someone for an apology and recognition they actually got this review. ((this is the ending of the review starting on my second reserved sight 138)))
