Camp sites were well equipped with picnic table, fire ring with grill grate, bbq grill, and bear proof box for storage. Restroom facilities were very clean with clean showers and a room to wash dishes. Huge picnic area for day trips to swim in the spring. Lots of trails nearby for hiking in the Ocala National Forest.

We camp at salt springs as a family every year, always a great experience. Love that you keep the facilities clean.

Campsites were spacious, but not very secluded. We saw all of our neighbors. The one trail, close by, was nice, but not many other options within walking distance. Springs were nice and big. Fun for the family. Prefer other Ocala campgrounds over Salt Springs.

The camping facilities and scenery are fantastic but the daytime staff have been completely rude, unwelcoming, and condescending. We have come for the day and this previous time camped for 3 nights. We would never stay at this campground again until the staff have an attitude adjustment. Not a good look when the staff with golf carts all meet up for their non-stop smoke breaks. To make matters worse on Labor Day the staff was cleaning the restrooms in the primitive area, someone in my party had a bathroom emergency and could barely make it to the bathroom. They would not let her use it and told her to walk to the other side or shit in the woods. Literally the worst staff ever

Some of the most rude employees I have seen at a business. One girl in the office was the only one who was helpful. People literally waited in line just to deal with her. We won’t go back and I cannot recommend this place to anyone.
