Nice campground. Shaded full hookup sites. Also have a number of first come sites as well. Spring was great to cool off in. Large picnic area at the spring. No beach, just walk down the steps to the water. Weekdays were quiet, got pretty busy on the weekend. Staff seemed attentive and the campground was clean.

Pretty nice place, but too many rules...with campground hosts continually moving throughout the campground making sure rules are followed. At times we felt like teenagers vs the "mature" adults that we are. My biggest pet peeve was the leave blowers they used EVERY time a site was vacated. To remove a few small leaves on the paved pads after folks left. So noisy and unnecessary.

We love this park!

Very nice park. But reminded me of the Nick Saban commercial for Vrbo. Read the list of rules, more don'ts than do's. Wasn't allowed to wipe off my trailer, would be considered washing which wasn't allowed. Really! Is lifting my hood to check my oil considered performing repairs or maintenance on a vehicle. "And most importantly remember, NO fun" - Nick Saban. There's your list, corroborated by other site campers..

Love this campground! However, the bathroom by our site (62) needs some work. The shower heads are just nozzles with one stream of water. It was very cold and the ceiling fans were also going right over the showers. The campground itself is very clean, with lots of space between sites. However, it is expensive, and I know that is due to the full hookup at each site. Our site 62 is missing part of the sewer hookup so it was just basically sitting in the pipe, like when you're at a dump station. Not a big deal as we kept the blackwater closed so we weren't bombarded with foul odor, but hope they fix it. And, the showers!

The manager at salt spring RV camping grounds is incredibly rude and disrespectful to the guests . I would not recommend this location bc of the incredibly poor temperament of the manager.

The campground is very clean and shady . Sites are well cared for. This is one of our favorite campgrounds. Fuel and groceries are right outside the entrance. The spring is cold and clear, great for swimming and relaxing. Always like to spend time here.

Great atmosphere around the springs. Kayaks aren’t allowed in the spring area however there is a boat launch nearby and you can easily wade into the springs. Most of the area is leg/waist deep. Bring a float or they have cute ones to buy.

Full hookups in a park setting. We were in space 61 and loved the big open areas between rows with good amount of space between sites on the same row. Some rows with lower numbers have more crowded sites, although the lowest numbered sites large and shady. The park is set in a lovely part of Florida with many springs and rivers nearby for lots of recreation. Park personnel friendly and accommodating. It was our first time at Salt Springs Recreation Area but definitely not the last.
