This was a great place to snorkel around with the kids, or just float on a tube. The full-hookup campsites were pretty open. Many spots have shade, but not all. The facilities were clean. I had been here years ago, and this is the first time camping at Salt Springs. It was relaxing and enjoyable.

Excellent facility. Neat, clean and well- maintained. We will come back.

The camp sites were close to one another. Access to water and electric was provided at each site. For the main day of our trip the bathrooms were not accessible because they were doing water main work through out the hook up camp sites.

Simply one of the two or three most beautiful, well-kept and well- designed campgrounds, public or private, that we have stayed at anywhere (and we have stayed at a lot of campgrounds)! Highly recommended!

An excellent camping experience! The large paved sites are great, and you are not right on top of your neighbor. There are trails to explore, a beautiful spring area to swim, and tons of nearby recreation activities. Full hook-ups are available, grills and nice fire rings in each space.

Everything was beautiful except the bathrooms needed to be updated. No hot water and the showers would not stay on, and one shower had the water running all the time.

Clean and well maintained. Sites are premium with great sewer hook up.

This is a beautiful park. The sites are very spacious and level for the most part. The website says that the maximum length is 35' but we were in a 40' motorhome and had room for our car to park in front of our motorhome. We kayaked Salt Springs and swam at the springs which was very enjoyable. You are also in very close proximity to Juniper, Silver, Silver Glen and Alexander Springs, as well. Use your American the Beautiful card for additional savings. We will be back!

The springs are beautiful. Campsites are well maintained and nicely spaced. Some sites have full hook-up.

Extremely well maintained by hard working friendly campground hosts
@TanjiS490 · Camped on Mar 17, 2021 at Campsite #50
Wide level sites, well maintained. Not much foliage between sites. We were only able to stay one night so we didn't enjoy the spring. However the waking trails were wonderful.

Wonderful park. Very neat and clean. Sites are spacious and lots of trees. We had full hookup including 50 amp and sewer.

This campground is beautiful. Majestic oaks with Spanish moss for natural Florida. Able to get in the spring in February. The recreation area has a boat launch so we launched our kayak from there. We kayaked near the manatees and it was amazing. The park is spread out for good walking and biking exercise. They are taking extra precaution with cleaning at sewer hookups and sites when campers leave. Our second time to visit and plan to go back.

Went in late January. Very clean and well kept park. Facilities are nice, and maybe even some of the best kept I've seen. I don't think I saw any spiders in the rest room / shower buildings. Staff everywhere are super friendly and helpful. The primitive camp area was nearly vacant. The RV / Hookup side was near full. The primitive side looks / feels more like camping in the woods. The RV side is a well groomed, well spaced out setup. Springs area looks fun, we'll have to come back in the warmer weather with the kids. There is a 2-3 mile hiking loop on site (bear swamp trail I think). It is quiet, has little foot traffic, lots of birds can be seen.

Bicycling and canoeing or kayaking are great. Spring is beautiful, and snorkeling was fun. Got busy on Friday for the weekend. Wi-Fi at entrance area only.
